Welcome to the website of the stage director Lydia Steier. Born in Connecticut in 1978, Steier has been living and working in Germany since moving to the country on a Fulbright Award in 2002. Her productions in the areas of opera, spoken theater, contemporary music and alternative performance have appeared in Europe, Asia, and both North and South America.
